As a statewide role, the coordinator provides virtual and in-person consultation and outreach across all regions of Nevada and serves as a subject-matter resource to HR professionals, business owners, and community partners.

This coordinator position works with the Capacity Building Manager to project plan and implement the Employer Support project. This project aims to support employers in identifying the child care needs of their workforce and assisting employers in creating solutions to meet those needs. The position is also responsible for coordinating child care solutions with individual employers. This is a statewide position that requires the coordinator to provide remote support to businesses across the state of Nevada.


The Safe Place Coordinator is a leadership role dedicated to ensuring the safety, well-being, and support of youth in crisis. This position oversees the Safe Place program’s staff and key initiatives, including managing the 24-hour crisis hotline, coordinating case management services, and leading street outreach efforts for runaway and homeless youth in Washoe County. The Coordinator works closely with staff, volunteers, and community partners to provide Safe Place locations, connect youth to essential resources, and provide crisis intervention. Additional responsibilities include program evaluation, compliance oversight, budget management, data analysis, youth advocacy, and program development to enhance services and community outreach.

The Coach will model best practices in early childhood education in all aspects of this position.


The Quality Specialist will provide early childhood professional development on Pyramid Model practices through training, technical assistance, hands on guidance, one-on-one support and resource sharing. In collaboration with the Regional Pyramid Model Coordinator this position will provide support to early childhood programs to effectively address challenging behavior with the goal of preventing suspension and expulsion. This position requires an understanding of child development, quality early childhood education, and licensing regulations.

This involves collaborating with DCFS to facilitate the implementation of safety plans, providing focused safety management and services, and coordinating comprehensive wraparound case management for families in rural Nevada. This role is essential in strengthening family stability, unification and ensuring the effectiveness of safety plans in communities that may face barriers to access due to geographic or resource limitations.

The Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS) Program Specialist is the liaison between the QRIS Coaching Program, Department of Education, and the QRIS assessment team. The QRIS Program Specialist provides support to QRIS administration, coaches, and participating child care providers. This position supports coaches with reviewing, approving, and submitting QRIS grant orders. This position requires an understanding of early childhood education and indicators of quality care, and licensing regulations.


ECSN teachers provide temporary care in child care centers and licensed family child care homes. We can service anywhere from 6-week-old (infant) to elementary school age (after-school program, in-home provider who have after-school kids. This is a full time position that may include a variable schedule, accountable to the quality program coordinator. Specific training will be provided to meet basic criteria for providing quality child care. There are special requirements listed for this position due to child care regulations.
