Cabinet Ink Production Technician I

The Cabinet Ink Production Technician I is an entry-level workforce development role responsible for learning and assisting in apparel printing, customer order fulfillment, production room organization, and digital design basics. This position supports daily operations while developing job readiness, technical skills, teamwork, and professionalism.

Duties

  • Assist with t-shirt and promotional item production
  • Learn operation of Brother GTX Pro DTG Printer
  • Prepare garments, pretreat items, and stage orders
  • Learn Adobe Photoshop basics and file setup
  • Maintain clean and organized production area
  • Fold, package, and prepare completed orders
  • Assist with inventory counts and restocking
  • Practice workplace professionalism and punctuality
  • Communicate respectfully with staff and customers
  • Complete required training modules
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist clients in a respectful, empowering manner.
  • Participate in team meetings, program planning, and other organizational efforts as needed.
  • Align work with the mission, values, and strategic goals of The Children's Cabinet.
  • Other duties assigned

  • Support with ordering and inventory processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work efficiently under pressure and problem-solve in fast-paced or unpredictable environments.
  • Communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with diverse clients, donors, and vendors.
  • Maintain high organizational standards and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Uphold safety, privacy, and compliance expectations.
  • Represent The Children's Cabinet positively to the public and partner agencies.
  • Use strong interpersonal skills, including empathy, cultural humility, and a solution-focused mindset.

Special Requirements

  • Working toward or obtained diploma/GED
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work
  • Be physically capable of performing all job duties. This may include lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs., walking up and down stairs

Licenses or Certificates

  • Able to pass complete background check.

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 20-25 per week, 9am-2pm OR 1pm-6pm
