This elevated role also supports data reporting and partnership coordination related to inventory and seasonal distribution events.

Redfield Case Managers provide wraparound case management services to youth attending Redfield Academy—an alternative education setting for Washoe County students at risk of dropping out of high school. These students have the opportunity to recover credits and work toward graduation with a traditional diploma, either at Redfield or through re-entry into a traditional school setting.

Case management services emphasize strengths, sustainable solutions, and community support. Case Managers assist youth and families through advocacy, crisis intervention, academic and graduation planning, and facilitation of support systems. Our wraparound model is family-driven, rooted in strengths, and supported by a collaborative team-based approach. Redfield Case Managers also work closely with school district personnel, teachers, and support staff to address barriers to student success.


Therapist - Intern

The Therapist Intern provides direct therapeutic services to children, youth, and families in various mental health programs. The Therapist Intern provides family therapy to clients to improve communication, relationships, and other family issues. The Therapist Intern may also facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups. The Therapist Intern conducts crisis assessments both on site and at pre-determined school locations that include follow up care recommendations. The Therapist Intern works within a team setting with other Cabinet staff and community partners to facilitate prompt and effective delivery of services. This position reports to the Clinical Manager.
