Wraparound case management services are available to every child and family receiving support from The Children's Cabinet. Our approach centers on family strengths, community supports, and sustainable, long-term solutions, all facilitated through team-based decision-making processes. These services encompass child and family advocacy, crisis intervention, basic needs security, general case management, and streamlined access to community resources through closed-loop referrals. Wraparound Case Managers collaborate with local public service agencies and other nonprofits to address the full spectrum of family needs. Our wraparound case management model prioritizes four key elements: 1) Family/Client-directed, 2) Driven by underlying needs, 3) Rooted in an evidence and strengths-based approach, and 4) Supported by an effective team process.
The Bilingual Subsidy Wraparound Case Manager is a specialist level position who is responsible for assisting clients with intense referral needs in addition to subsidy eligibility. The Subsidy Wraparound Case Manager will assist clients with any eligibility requirements, referrals to outside agencies, and will follow-up to ensure the client's needs were met.
The Safe@Home, Family First Case Manager fulfills all core responsibilities of a General Wraparound Case Manager while delivering specialized, comprehensive support to families referred by the Division of Child & Family Services (DCFS). This role works in close partnership with DCFS to support the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of family safety plans. Key functions include focused safety management, targeted services coordination, and delivery of comprehensive wraparound case management for families residing in rural Nevada. This role is essential in strengthening family stability, promoting family unification and ensuring the effectiveness of safety plans in communities that may face barriers to access due to geographic or resource limitations.
ECSN teachers provide temporary care in child care centers and licensed family child care homes. We can service anywhere from 6-week-old (infant) to elementary school age (after-school program, in-home provider who have after-school kids. This is a full time position that may include a variable schedule, accountable to the quality program coordinator. Specific training will be provided to meet basic criteria for providing quality child care. There are special requirements listed for this position due to child care regulations.

Under general supervision, visits individuals and families in early childhood settings to provide basic community outreach services and to assist with programmatic interventions necessary in an effort to increase access to health and community services for families with young children as well as the early childhood workforce. May provide information on available resources, provide social support and informal counseling, advocate for individuals and community health needs, and provide services such as developmental screening for children. This position needs a bilingual person English/Spanish.
