The Child Care Services Center (CCSC) Front Desk/Program Navigator bilingual (English/Spanish)serve as a key point of contact for both clients and program staff, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. This position will be responsible for greeting visitors, fielding phone calls, record maintenance, accepting registration for provider professional development training, assisting with community outreach events, assisting with provider professional development and parent training classes, and general clerical duties such as data entry and supply ordering. The Front Desk/Program Navigator is responsible for maintaining program documentation, data entry into databases, generating and sharing reports, maintaining learning environments, and communicating with all instructors, learners and program staff.
The Child Care Services Program Navigator will provide needs assessment, referral and follow-up support to current and prospective child care providers at the Child Care Hub (NV Strong Start Child Care Services Center). The position also provides overall project support, administrative assistance and support tasks as assigned. This position requires a familiarity with different types of early care and education settings, the ability to utilize basic computer software programs and positive communication skills within the agency and with the public.

In this role, you’ll work directly with families who are pregnant or have children ages 0–6, guiding them through developmentally appropriate, hands-on activities that build strong foundations for lifelong learning.
The Parents as Teachers (PAT) Case Manager develop partnerships with families who are pregnant or have children ages six and under. PAT is an evidence-based program that enables the parents to work directly with their child on developmentally appropriate, skill building activities. The PAT Case Manager helps parents understand early childhood development concepts and terminology that increases the parent's ability to observe and understand their child's learning process. The PAT Case Manager provides “wraparound services” to families participating in the PAT program and is responsible for providing information/referrals, case management, outreach, support services and direct services. The PAT Case Manager will also provide community, networking, and family engagement activities monthly at the Group Connections. This position requires an understanding of early childhood education and indicators of quality care, school readiness, and an understanding of strengths-based case management. This position will report to the PAT Program Coordinator.
ECSN teachers provide temporary care in child care centers and licensed family child care homes. We can service anywhere from 6-week-old (infant) to elementary school age (after-school program, in-home provider who have after-school kids. This is a full time position that may include a variable schedule, accountable to the quality program coordinator. Specific training will be provided to meet basic criteria for providing quality child care. There are special requirements listed for this position due to child care regulations.
