This position requires an understanding of Early Childhood Education, licensing regulations, and work/life issues.
The Child Care Subsidy Delegate Agency Specialist will assist delegate agencies with childcare enrollment and monthly processing. This Subsidy Specialist will also have an understanding of individual family requirements for the subsidy program and assist families as needed. This position may be out-posted at an alternative site as needed and/or fill in for absent staff. Subsidy Specialist are detail oriented and able to implement eligibility criteria changes timely and accurately.
The Resource & Referral Program Manager will provide supervision, leadership and support to Southern Nevada Resource & Referral (R&R) staff. This position is responsible for working closely with the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services (DWSS) to provide R&R programming and Wraparound Case Management services to families and child care providers. This position requires knowledge of the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Subsidy and Resource & Referral Programming and Evidence-based Wraparound Case Management.
The Community Outreach Coordinator serves as a vital connection between First 5 Nevada and The Children’s Cabinet’s programs and the marketing team, ensuring that outreach, communications, and marketing efforts are aligned to effectively engage families, partners, and community members. This role is responsible for developing programmatic newsletters, managing community outreach events, and assisting with marketing initiatives that promote First 5 Nevada’s services and resources, as well as Cabinet programs. First 5 Nevada (F5N) is a statewide initiative focused on connecting families with young children to the programs, services, and resources that they need and to improve knowledge, awareness, and support for building a comprehensive, coordinated early childhood system in Nevada.
The Subsidy Wraparound Case Manager is a specialist level position who is responsible for assisting clients with intense referral needs in addition to subsidy eligibility. The Wraparound Case Manager will assist clients with any eligibility requirements, referrals to outside agencies, and will follow-up to ensure the client’s needs were met.
The SOS Signs of Suicide Program Specialist is responsible for assisting with the SOS program through the Children’s Cabinet. The Specialist will work with the SOS Program Manager, case managers, other agencies and school districts in regards to the implementation of the SOS program in order to educate youth and screen youth for mental health issues as well as other health related issues and to be able to refer for follow up services as deemed necessary. The position will report to a Program Manager and Program Coordinator. Bilingual English/Spanish Required
