The Child Care Services Center (CCSC) Front Desk/Program Navigator will serve as a key point of contact for both clients and program staff, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. This position will be responsible for greeting visitors, fielding phone calls, record maintenance, accepting registration for provider professional development training, assisting with community outreach events, assisting with provider professional development and parent training classes, and general clerical duties such as data entry and supply ordering. The Front Desk/Program Navigator is responsible for maintaining program documentation, data entry into databases, generating and sharing reports, maintaining learning environments, and communicating with all instructors, learners and program staff. Bilingual in English/Spanish Required.

The Child Care Services Program Navigator will provide needs assessment, referral and follow-up support to current and prospective child care providers at the Child Care Hub (NV Strong Start Child Care Services Center). The position also provides overall project support, administrative assistance and support tasks as assigned. This position requires a familiarity with different types of early care and education settings, the ability to utilize basic computer software programs and positive communication skills within the agency and with the public.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and day-to-day maintenance of Children's Cabinet facilities across the Reno area. This position owns daily janitorial operations at two primary buildings, performs routine and minor maintenance tasks, manages facilities supplies, coordinates agency vehicle maintenance, and serves as first-responder support for facilities issues at other agency locations. Work is performed on a swing shift (exact schedule has some flexibility), with maintenance tasks and some cleaning completed during business hours, and more disruptive tasks performed outside of normal business hours.

The Innovation & Process Improvement Analyst supports organizational innovation, process improvement, automation, and technology optimization initiatives across The Children's Cabinet. Reporting to the Strategic Operations Manager, this position assists in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, reduce administrative burden, and leverage technology to enhance organizational effectiveness. This position is in in-office, located in Reno, NV. No remote work is offered for this role. 

The Innovation & Process Improvement Analyst works closely with program and administrative departments to support process improvement projects, AI adoption efforts, workflow automation, reporting enhancements, and technology implementations. This position serves as a key resource in helping staff adopt new tools and improve the way work is performed throughout the organization. The Early Childhood Substitute Network Program Coordinator is responsible for leading the coordination and delivery of substitute staffing services to child care providers, ensuring timely, reliable, and high-quality support that promotes continuity of care for children in their assigned region. This role oversees daily program operations, supervises staff, and builds strong relationships with providers to ensure responsive service delivery. This position provides supervision and training to regional ECSN staff.

The Regional QRIS Manager oversees all aspects of Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) coaching program and directly supervises the QRIS Coordinators in the assigned region (northern Nevada or southern Nevada). This position requires an understanding of best practices in Early Childhood Education, State of Nevada licensing regulations, district pre-K programs, environmental rating scales, and Nevada’s Silver State Stars QRIS. This position requires supervision including the recruiting and hiring of staff and the establishment of professional development goals to align with the Nevada Early Childhood Coaching Competency Framework. This position requires an excellent understanding of best practices in Early Childhood Education, the child care system in Nevada, current early childhood initiatives and funding source, and State of Nevada licensing regulations.

The Provider Support Director provides statewide leadership and oversight for provider support services, early childhood development initiatives, parent and community child care programs, and quality improvement efforts. This position requires extensive knowledge of Early Childhood Education, Nevada’s child care system, licensing regulations, provider recruitment and retention efforts, and professional development systems. The Director is responsible for ensuring high-quality provider support services, maintaining International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) accreditation standards, and advancing initiatives that strengthen the capacity and quality of Nevada’s child care providers.

The Director works closely with executive leadership, program directors, community partners, government agencies, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality services, continuous quality improvement, and sustainable growth of Nevada's early childhood workforce and provider network.

The On-Call Safe Place Outreach Case Manager is responsible for responding to crisis situations by answering the Safe Place Hotline during overnight, holiday, and weekend shifts. This role involves assessing and triaging crises, providing face-to-face intervention when necessary, and coordinating shelter placement for youth in crisis. This position reports directly to the Program Coordinator.
